Violets Violets everywhere

These were so much fun to do. I know I say that about almost every card that I do, but these really were. I guess I'm still on my purple kick.
Stamps: Violets by Flourishes, sentiments unknown
Paper: Lovely Lilac, Lavendar Lace, Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke
Misc: prismas, baby oil, buttons, dew drops, EK success corner punch, pop dots, SU Label punch
Well, hopefully we'll know something on the house by lunch tomorrow. I can't believe how long this is taking. However, I'm not very hopeful that we'll have a definite answer, even though we're suppose to. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
I'll have another post tomorrow.
Happy Stamping!

MMSC13 challenge

The top card is the card I'm entering in the MMSC 13 challenge http://www.priscillastyles.blogspot.com/. I made it first & it's 6x6. Then I decided to try again and the bottom one is 5 1/4 x 5 1/4. I don't really like either one, but it was still a fun challenge.
Stamps: Birthday Whimsey
Paper: White, Not Quite Navy & unknown DSP
Ink: Not Quite Navy
Misc: Stickles
Hope all is well with all of you.

Yellow Blossom

This card is one of my new "favorites", so I may make a few more of them. It just really appealed to me when I saw it on SCS! Unfortunately, as usual, I don't know who to give credit to, so if anyone recognizes it, please leave me a message & I'll give proper credit!

Stamps: Bloomin' Beautiful
Paper: white, black, Yo Yo Yellow
Ink: Staz-On black, whisper white
Misc: prismas, baby oil, blending stumps, MS 1/2 back pearls in black & white, ribbon, SU corner punch

I made lots of cards today, so I'll have plenty to post all week. Hopefully this week will not be as disjointed as last week was. We're still waiting on the contingency to be removed from the sell agreement on the house that we want to buy. He's asked for a few more days, so keep your fingers crossed that by noon Wed, we'll have an unemcumbered sells agreement on my dream house!!!!!!

Have a wonderful week!

My First Shutter Card

This is a really fun card to do. And it's so easy. There are several patterns out there, but this one is:
Cut paper 12" x 5 1/2"
Score @ 2", 4," 8", 10"
"
Turn paper on long side @ 1 1/2" and cut from the 2" score to the 10" score. Flip paper & repeat on the other long side.
Decorate.
Fun!
I used a lot of different stamp sets, etc, so if anyone wants to exact stamp sets, leave me a message & I'll post them.
No news on the house yet. Of course I'm on pins & needles.
Have a wonderful evening.
Happy Stamping!

Riley Moose Birthday

This was a really fun card to color & make. The sentiment on the outside says "hope your day is blooming with love". I just thought that was so appropriate for Riley!

Stamps: Riley
Paper: Bella Rosa DSP, Kiwi Kiss, Close to Cocoa, white
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Misc: Prismas, baby oil, kiwi kiss reinker to dye the flower, brad

We're in a holding pattern on the house. We have a contingent sells agreement. We'll know by Friday at 6pm if the seller can make everything work. At least he's accepted our offer with the contingency! Keep your fingers crossed for us.

I hope everyone is having a great week.

Hummingbird Birthday

Sorry it's been a couple of days since I posted. It's going to be like this for a few more days as we continue to work on finding a house to buy. At least we got our townhouse on the rental market today. We have a bid in on a house that I LOVE, and have countered the counter offer, so we'll see. It will be tomorrow before we know anything. We withdrew the offer on the first house we wanted because the realtor was playing games with us.

I'm really on a roll with birds/hummingbirds and purple. Oh, well.

Stamps: Spring Song
Paper: Lovely Lilac DSP, Certainly Celery, white
Ink: Staz-on black, Lovely Lilac
Misc: Prismas, blending stumps, baby oil, ribbon, stickles (on the birdies tummy), although you really can't tell it in the picture

I'll try to post again tomorrow or Wed at the latest, but no promises.

Happy Stamping!
