Altered File Folders

These are some file folders that I altered over the weekend. They are very easy. If anyone is interested, I'll try to do a tutorial (picture), but I didn't want to go to the trouble if no one was intertested.

Top Folder:

Toile Beauties

Toile Bloosoms is one of my favorite stamp sets, and I hadn't used it in quite a while. I love yellow & blue for toile, so this is what I came up with.

Stamps: Toile Blossoms, For A Friend (sentiment)

Paper: Brilliant Blue, Yo Yo Yellow

Ink: Brilliant Blue

I played the VSN all weekend, so I have a lot of things to post next week. Plus, I made an altered file folder that I designed, so I'll be posting that also.

Dusty Bermuda Birthday

I really really don't like this card. I just think in is too plain, and down right ugly. However, since I made it & photographed it, I thought I'd might as well post it. I do think I like these 2 papers together though. It's a little "different".

Purple & Blue Birthday

I was just playing around with some of my old designer paper and this is one of the cards I came up with. It was kind of fun.

Not much else to report tonight. The cat is driving Winnie crazy because he's sleeping in her basket. It's so cute!

Lavendar Sachets

These were quick & easy to make. I used 3x3 envelopes & filled them with lavendar that I bought on line from Sav-on crafts. They smell wonderful!!!!!

Stamps: Blossoms Abound

Ink: Pretty in Pink, Rose Red, Mellow Moss, Certainly Celery

However, the best news of the day is that we got the house that we really really wanted!!!! I still don't think I realize it yet. I am very excited! Hopefully we'll move at the beginning of October. And someone is coming by the townhouse tonight to look at renting it.
