Mark's Finest Papers Chickadees

I had so much fun stamping today! Things just seemed to come together for the most part. And a friend of mine came over and stamped for a while also. Very relaxing.

I just love this Ferns and Chickadee set from Mark's Finest Papers! I did 2 different style cards using the same set and you wouldn't know they were the same stamp. You'll see the other card later in the week.

I can't get caught up with life!!!!!!

Oh my goodness, I just can't seem to get it toghether. First off, I had hoped to stamp all weekend, but had to run errands and got to the grocery store on Saturday, then yesterday (Sunday) I was sick all day. I couldn't get off the sofa! I really felt bad!

I don't think I've told you, but we have the cutest chipmunk that visits our bird feeders! However, he has learned to climb the tree and get on the hanging bird feeder! I swear, he can jump from the tree onto the bird feeder and back!!!! I thought I was seeing things at first! We have named him Chipdale, because we dont' know if he's Chip or Dale. LOL

I hope you like the card tonight. It's another flower pot card. I think these cards are so neat!

Birdie Birthday

It's hard to see the bird in the picture. I should have sponged around the bird a little bit to give it more definition. I also think I should put a small pop dot or glue dot behind the happy birthdya tag so that it doesn't hand straight down. I sponged around the top note die with Rich Razzleberry ink, then put the bird on top of the die. I popped the top wing up with a pop dot.

I'm glad rich razzleberry is still going to be around after the color renovation over at SU. I love the rich color! I hope the cottage wall DSP will stick around for another year too!

Clean & Simple Toile Blossoms

I just love the set "Toile Blossoms" and haven't used it in a very long time. I like the clean lines of this card too.

Joy Fold Birthday

I just love joy fold cards, but I'm not sure how much I like this card. The colors just don't speak to me. And I made it the weekend before our cruise, so I don't even remember all the deets! YIKES, I'm loosing it!

I'm going to ask for something personal tonight. I had another EKG today, and it came back abnormal again. They think I may have a blockage. I am asking for good thoughts and prayers. My DH seems to be very worried about this. I'm not so worried. I feel fine. I have a nuclear stress test on 14 June. They couldn't schedule it prior to that because the medicine that they inject comes from Europe and the volcano in Iceland has flights canceled. Go figure! :-) Who would have thought.....................Anyway, thanking you in advance.

I love hummingbirds!

Good morning everyone! We're back from our Alaksan adventure, and we had a wonderful time! Very relaxed and renewed. Now I have to finish unpacking and wash 2 weeks worth of clothes. UGH.........but it was definitely worth it!!!! LOL

I'll post some photos later in the week of some of the wildlife we saw.

My card today is another one I made with Mark's Finest Papers Daffodils and Anise. I really love this stamp set (as if you may not have noticed). I use it regularly.

I had to add the ribbon because I accidentally got ink on the card. However, I think my "mistake" came out okay! :-)
