Out of the Box

This is my first attempt at the "out of the box" technique, where you use your nesties but part of the design is outside of the cut line.  I am pretty happy with how this came out, although it took me 3 tries to get it right.  I colored the carnation with my new copics.

Bunny in the Flowers

I just love bunnies and I think this little guy is just one of the cutest!!!  He's from the stamp set "In the Forest" by Mark's Finest Papers.  I used my new Prima flowers and MS punches to punch out leaves and ferns for embellishments.  Almost all supplies are from Mark's Finest Papers.

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days.  One of my best friends husband is in the hospital, so I spent most of Saturday at the hospital with her, and Sunday I took a Copics class at the LSS.  The class was OK, but I have learned more on the internet than from the class. 

This Sunday is Cricut Club at the same LSS and that should be a lot of fun! 

Guess that's all the news from here for now.  I'll try to post again tomorrow.

You Look Marvelous!

I just love this stamp from the stamp set "Grandma's Boudoir" by Mark's Finest Papers  However,  you can't see the early espresso scalloped piece behind the main image.  I should have used a lighter shade of brown, or maybe even a deep peach.  I think I'm going to take the card apart and re-do it.

Giraffe Get Well

Isn't this giraffe just the cutest thing?  It's from the new set called African Veldt by Mark's Finest Papers
I used my cricut to cut the layers.  Even though this is an easy CAS card, I really like it.  I have it in mind for a male client of mine who is suffering from cancer.

CAS Dandylion Card

Just a quick CAS card today using the newly released set "Just Dandy" from Mark's Finest Papers  This really was a quick card.  I may make a few to have on hand for birthday cards.  I might could even use more masculine colors to see if they could be used for a man.  We'll see.  Depends on how I'm feeling.
