I made this envelope to hold the paper doll and all her clothes.  I also made a video tutorial showing you step by step how to make the envelope.  The paper doll is made of 3 thicknesses of 140lb CS glued together.  After the glue dried, I stamped the paper doll, then cut her out with my red rubber scissors.   I then colored her with my Spectrum Noir pens.

Here's the video

Stamps:  Paper Doll
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth 180lb
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black
Misc:  Spectrum Noir pens

12 Days of Christms~~Mason Jar Candle

OK, I know it said a Mason jar candle, however, the Dollar Store did not have any Mason jars, and I was sick with bronchitis when I was trying to do this tutorial, so I made mine a wine glass candle.  Hopefully the Mason jar candle police won't come after me!  LOL  I really did just get a $1 decorated wine glass and a matching candle, along with the Epsom salts at the Dollar store for this project.  So $3 + the cost of a little bit of ribbon. The tag probably looks familiar if you've been following along with us on the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop.  :-)

Stamps:  Holiday Tags
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Real Red, Garden Green
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black
Misc:  Copics, Ribbon, 1 1/4" punch, candle, Epsom salts

Thanks for stopping by today to see our projects.

A Card and a Project

I have a card and a 3-D project for you today.  My card is CASEd from Bonnie, aka Bon2stamp over on SCS.  She is today's Featured Stamper.  I really had a lot of fun making this card.  And I love the way it turned out!

Stamps:  Scenic Selections
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Razmataz Pink by MFP
Ink:  Rose Red
Misc:  1 3/8" circle punch, scallop circle punch, rhinestones, embossing folder

My 2nd project is my BFF's birthday present.  I think she's going to like it because she is always saying how she can't keep up with people's birthday's, so I made her this birthday card organizer.

This is the front cover.  I used some retired SU DSP called Bella Rose.  I covered chip board to make the front and back cover, and used my Artiste cartridge to decorate the front of the organizer.

Here's a picture of the inside

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you liked my card and project!  Stay warm!

I just love this cute little set that we are featuring today.  Instead of making a card, I made a  post-it note cover.  I stamped the cracked background on my entire cover (front & back), stamped the hello and backed it with rose red paper and fussy cut my butterfly, colored it with my Copics, and popped it up on pop dots.  Added some rhinestoes & ribbon, and voila', done. Very fast and easy project.  I think I'm going to make a few more and give them to the girls at work.  I like projects that can be quickly mass produced.

Stamps:  Cracked Hello
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Rose Red
Ink:  Rose Red
Misc:  ribbon, rhinestones, pop dots

Stamped Candles

These candles were so much fun to do!!!!  Today was stamped candle day for our 12 Days of Christmas mini blog hop at Mark's Finest Papers.  Click HERE for the start of the hop today.  I used the stamp set "Boo to You" by Mark's Finest Papers and colored them with copics.  The small candle with Speedy riding on the broom is from "Broom Rides" from last Halloweeen.  The edges are punched with Martha Stewart edge punches.  I made the moon by punching out a circle with a circle punch and using it as a mask and used a dauber to use various colors of yellows from Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color in the circle.  These are sitting on my bar at home for my Halloween decoration.

I hope you will join us tomorrow for the 9th day of the mini 12 Days of Christmas blog hop.

Have a wonderful evening!

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge Week #78~~Altered Photo Album

Since we've been having the 12 Days of Christmas mini blog hop this week, Faith challenged us to make one of the projects that have already been shown during the blog hop.  I decided to make an altered frame with a sticky note pad attached and an altered Pentel pen.  This frame is 5x7.  I ususally use 4x6, but couldn't find the smaller size.  However, had I had a larger post it note it would have fit nicely.  I used the new stamp set "Snowball?" from Mark's Finest Papers

I hope you have been joining us for the 12 Days of Christmas.  We have really been having fun with it!  I can't wait to see your altered/3-d projects over on Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge blog

Stamps:  Snowball?
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Cherry Slush, Corn Husk by MFP, October Afternoon "Good Cheer" paper pad
Ink:  Palette Noir Black

Isn't this the cutest little note pad?  I made it from 2 4"x4" coasters.  I cut some copy paper 3"x3" for the inside and used my Bind It All that I got from Mark's Finest Papers.  I embossed the tree using Versa Mark ink and black embossing powder.  I cut out the ghostie and popped him up on pop dots.  I made the moon by masking with a punched out circle, then going back & coloring it in with yellow ink.
