Spooky!!!

I don't think this little ghost will scare anybody!  He's just too cute.  I used the stamp set "What a Scream" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I colored him with my Spectrum Noir pens.  The background paper is some designer paper from my stash.

Stamps:  What a Scream
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Speedy Cat Black Linen by MFP, DP
Ink: Tuxedo Black
Misc:  nesties, Spectrum Noir pens

Thanks for stopping by today!  Mary Ann still hasn't contacted me on winning the blog candy, so if she doesn't contact me by Saturday, I'll draw another name.

Happy Stamping!

2 cards for you today

My first card for you today is the one I made for the Inspiration Challenge yesterday.  I used the newly released stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co called "What a Scream".  My inspiration was a Steiff black cat from Williams Sonoma. It's very simple, but I really like he way it turned out.

Stamps:  What a Scream
Paper:  Speedy Cat Black Linen, grey, MAMBI Halloween paper stack
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black
Misc:  Enamel dots

My second card is a very special card that I made yesterday.  There is a group called "Honor Flight Network" that flies WWII & Korean veterans to Washington DC to see their memorials at no cost to them.  They do an old fashioned mail call like they did back in the war days.  I don't know who will receive this card, but I hope they feel special when they receive it!  We owe these men & women our freedom today, and it was the least I could do.  The sentiment on the inside says "We thank those who have made our country strong.  Thank you for your service."

Stamps:  Be Proud, USA Heroes (sentiment)
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Cherry Slush by MFP, Bo Bunny "Liberty" Collection
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black
Misc:  ribbon, flag charm, Spectrum Noir Pens

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Happy Stamping!

Trick or Treat Ghost!

This is a sneak peak of a brand new set called "Boo to You" that is being released next Tuesday by Mark's Finest Papers  I just absolutely LOVE this set and can't put it down!!!!!  And I really don't need Halloween cards!!!!  LOL  This card is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch square card.  I used my new Martha Stewart Halloween punches on the front and the inside of the card.  Sorry, but I forgot to photograph the inside of the card, and it's very rainy today so the photos did NOT come out!!!  So you'll just have to take my word that the inside is as cute as the outside with the sentiment "boo to you"!

Stamps:  Boo to You by MFP

Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Lily Pad Smooth, Speedy the Cat Black Linen by MFP

Ink:  Palette Noir

Mist:  copics, MS PATP punches, pop dots, brads

I hope you're not having as much rain where you are as we are. We've had flash flood warnings all day and many major roads have been closed.  Hopefully we won't have to build an ark before this is all over LOL.

Happy Stamping!
