What a fun project this was for the 12 Days of Christmas over on Mark's Finest Papers blog.  There's directions there on how to make this cute little ornament for your tree.  I think it would also make a wonderful hostess gift for all those Christmas parties we all attend!

Cowgirls Rule!!!

I made this card for the Featured Stamper challenge over on SCS this week.  Cathy, aka catdidit has a wonderful gallery.   I used the stamp set "Cowgirls Rule" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I haven't used this set in forever.  I used my Spectrum Noir pens to color the boots.

12 Days of Christms~~Mason Jar Candle

OK, I know it said a Mason jar candle, however, the Dollar Store did not have any Mason jars, and I was sick with bronchitis when I was trying to do this tutorial, so I made mine a wine glass candle.  Hopefully the Mason jar candle police won't come after me!  LOL  I really did just get a $1 decorated wine glass and a matching candle, along with the Epsom salts at the Dollar store for this project.  So $3 + the cost of a little bit of ribbon. The tag probably looks familiar if you've been following along with us on the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop.  :-)

Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge~~Farm Scene

This week Pat challenged us to make a farm scene.  This card was a lot of fun.  First I stippled the sky & the ground using Tim Holtz distress inks.  Then I stamped my cow and roosters from the stamp set "Country Charm" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I colored them all with my Spectrum Noir Pens.

12 Days of Christmas~~3-D Gift Tags Video Tutorial

These 3-D tags were so much fun to make, and took no time at all to complete.  I'm going to make some more of them for my packages.  I especially like the Santa one!  Again, I used the stamp set "Holiday Tags" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.

12 Days of Christmas~~Post-it Note Video Tutorial

We are having so much fun bring you these 12 Days of Christmas blog hop!  I hope you are enjoying it, and getting great last minute gift/stocking stuffer ideas.  You'll need to get out and dust off your crimper for this quick and fun project!  I used the stamp set "Holiday Tags" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  You could also use stickers if you didn't want to fussy cut your image, or just stamp and color your image.  There are lots of possibilities here.

12 Days of Christmas~~Bath Salts Jar Video Tutorial

 

 

For today's 12 Day of Christmas, I'm going to show you how to make quick & easy bath salts/shower scrub.  These are so easy to make, and the recipient always seems to enjoy them.  The video tutorial is below.

 

 

 

Bath Salt Recipe

 

1 Cup Epsom Salts

1 Tablespoon Glycerin

bath soap colorant of your choice*

bath soap scent of your choice*

1 jar with lid

*These can be found in the soap making section of the big box stores

I used my Cricut and the Elegant Edges cartridge to cut the scallop circle 2 (button #3) and shadow @ 3 1/2" each.  I used red for the shadow and green for the scallop circle.  The white circle is from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge cut @ 3".

12 Days of Christmas~~Faux Mosaic

Today we are doing faux mosaic cards for the 12 Days of Christmas.  I'm not at all pleased how my card came out, but after 3 tries, I gave up.  I think you should use larger pieces of rubber, and possibly even a larger image than I used.  The image is a blue bird sitting on top of a present.  The stamp set is "Presents" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.   The tutorial is over on Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co blog.  The other projects are very pretty.

Featured Designer Video Tutorial~~Note Pad

 

 

 

Bonnie asked me to be the Featured Designer this week.  I decided to make a video tutorial on how to make these quick & easy note pads.  I just tore off 30 sheets of paper from a note pad, but you could cut copier paper as an alternative.  I think these would make great little gifts for co-workers, stocking stuffers, housewarming gifts or neighbor gifts.

12 Days of Christmas~~Composition Jounal

For our 1st day of our 12 Days of Christmas celebration we are doing a covered composition journal.  This is just a regular bound composition book that I covered with Christmas designer paper.  I used the stamp  set "Presents" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I colored the images with Copics and punched out the little presents with a 1 3/4" circle punch and then backed them with a large scallop punch in red CS.  (I think it was a 2 3/8" scallop punch.)

Masculine Birthday for November clients

 

I made 12 of these to use for my November birthday cards at work.  I like how they turned out.  The car image is from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set called "Classic Dad".  The greeting is from the stamp set "Daffodil Greetings".  I hope my male clients like their cards this month.

Celebrate with Pumpkins and Sunflowers

 

I made a couple of these to use as fall birthday cards.  This is the free mini stamp set we got for participating in the Sept swap at Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I may make a few more of these, but I don't have any more pumpkin charms.  Maybe I can substitute a pumpkin button...that might be cute.

Pumpkin Birthday Card

I need birthday cards for November for my clients, and this is what I came up with.  I need to make a lot more, but they don't take all that much time.  I really like the Nestability Lable die that I used with this cute little pumpkin.  I think this card is appropriate for a male or female.  You could also make this a Thanksgiving card.

Isn't this little guy just adorable???  He just makes me happy to look at!  I'm going to send this card to a client who loves Panda's and goes over to China to help with the Panda program at least once a year.  In fact, she just got back, so I'll use this as a welcome back card!

Speedy Fox & Friends Blog Challenge~~Snow Scene

My little snowman is as happy as can be with his friend the blue bird joining him on this center step Christmas card.  Our challenge this week for Speedy Fox & Friends is to make a snow scene.  I used Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co stamp set called Snow Gifts.  It was a free set that we got for a swap we had last year.  He's one of my favorite snowman stamps!
