Speedy Fox & Friends Blog Challenge~~Center Step Card

Center step cards are my favorite style of card to make, so I was so excited to see it as our challenge for this week!!  I used the stamp set "Works of Art" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I really wanted to make a blue card for some reason, so my blossoms are blue, although I doubt you would find them in nature.

Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Speedy Cat Black Linen, Island Indigo
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black, Island Indigo
Misc:  Spectrum Noir Pens, enamel dots, washi tape

I hope you'll join us for this great challenge this week!

Angel Thank You

I made this thank you card for my housekeeper who gave me a beautiful angel for Christmas.  I made it a center step card and used the stamp set "You Are an Angel" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I heat embossed the angel in gold embossing powder and placed the image on a white background that I embossed using my music embossing folder.  I used music washi tape on the sides and across the bottom.

Stamps:  You Are an Angel
Paper:  snow storm smooth, cherry cobbler
Ink:  Versa Mark
Misc:  washi tape, gold embossing powder, music embossing folder

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  Our blog hop starts Tuesday for MFP, aHC, so please come back to see all of our new stamps!

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge~~Your Favorite Technique

This week's Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge is to use your favorite technique.  Well, I had a tie, so I used them both:  center step cards and coloring.  The stamp set is the new set just released by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co called "Presents".  The designer paper is some I got at Tuesday Morning last weekend for $1.99 for 25 sheets.  It's even 2 sided.  I needed more paper like I need another hole in my head, but I couldn't resist for the price!  LOL

Stamps:  Presents
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Garden Green, DP
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black
Misc:  nesties, brads

I hope you'll play along with us this week and show us your favorite technique!!!

Happy Stamping!

Easter Bunny Egg~~Please scroll down one post for Speedy Fox & Friends challenge

This is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge over on SCS.  I used the stamp set "Easter Scene" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  It's the free set you get with our swap on Speedy TV.  Maybe you will want to join our swap, there's still time!

This is a center step card.  I used the nestie egg dies to cut out the image, and the two DSP papers behind it.  The image fits almost perfectly in the nestie egg die.

Stamps:  Easter Scene
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Razzmatazz, Garden Green, DSP
Ink:  black
Misc:  washi tape, egg brads, nesties, EF

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you'll come back soon.

Speed Fox & Friends Blog Challenge~~Use a Different Fold

This week's challenge for Speedy Fox & Friends is to use a different fold.  I decided to do a center step card.  I love this type of card, but I haven't made one in months!  I CASEd a card that I got from Lois Bak in a card swap a few months ago.  I did take artistic liberty and made my daffodil lavendar.  I've never seen a lavendar daffodil, but I like it.  Maybe Mother Nature should take a look at my card-LOL!

Stamps:  Daffodil Greetings, Flaps My Wattles, Mother's Magnolias (sentiment)
Paper:  Snow Storm Smooth, Wisteria Wonder, Vintage Violet
Ink:  Palette Noir Black, Wisteria Wonder
Misc:  Copics, Nesties, Embossing Folder, MS border punch, Bling

I'm attaching a video tutorial I made last year on how to make a center step card just in case you haven't made one before.  I hope you enjoy the video.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you'll come back very soon!
