This is an early sneak peak of a new stamp set that will be released 7 Sept by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I made this card for the Inspiration Challenge over on SCS today.  I am still having trouble making scenic cards, but I'm going to keep working on it!  The house & cow are from the sneak peak set called "Primitive Farm".  I also used the "Scenic Selections" stamp set for my grass & trees.  I stippled the sky & grond with Tim Holtz distress inks.

Speedy Fox blog challenge~~Frame It

Poppies

I made this card for the Featured Stamper, Heidi Baks, over on SCS today.  I used the stamp set "Welcome Poppies" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I colored my poppies with my Spectrum Noir pens.  This was a really fun card to make!

Speedy Fox & Friends Challenge~~House

The challenge this week for Speedy Fox & Friends is "House".  I decided to do a window scene.  It has been quite a while since I used the stamp set "Enjoy the View" so I pulled it out, along with "Scenic Selections" and "A Walk in the Woods" to create my scene.  All of the stamp sets are from Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I stamped a small tree with Versa Mark ink to give some texture to my background.

I did some masking on this card.  It's not something that I do regularly, but I wanted the sea grass to be behind the goldfish.  The "grass" is from the stamp set "Joyous Season".

Get Well Card for DH Co-Worker

One of the ladies that works for my DH was bitten by her cat.  She went to the emergency room and they bandaged it up.  The next morning it was infected and she is now hospitalized!!!  I'm not kidding!  She has been in the hospital for 2 days now.  I made this card hoping that it would cheer her up.  I used 2 different stamp sets by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  The image is from the stamp set "Bring on the Sun" and the sentiment is from "Rain Clouds".

Good Luck Cricut Goldfish

I made this quick card using my Cricut and 2 stamp sets from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  The stamp set "Wealthy Fish" (sentiment) will be released next Tuesday 13 Aug.  The seaweed is from the stamp set "Shello".  I used my Cricut and the Animal Kingdom cartridge to cut out the fish.

Twisted Easel Lighthouse~~Please scroll down one post for the Speedy Fox Challenge

I made this twisted easel card for the Inspiration Challenge over on SCS today.  The inspiration gallery was from National Geographic.  I chose the Cape Hatteras NC photo as my inspiration.  I stippled the background before stamping the lighthouse image and the sentiment.  All of the images are from the stamp set "Lighthouses" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.

Speedy Fox & Friends challenge~~cooking

Our Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge for this week is cooking!  Boy--is cooking a challenge for me!  LOL  This card was much easier than anything I do in the kitchen.  DH does most of  the cooking at our house.  :-)

I like the simplicity of this card.  I used the stamp set "Celebrate Big" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I colored the chef and the fruit with my Spectrum Noir pens.  I fussy cut the fruit and popped it up on the tray that the chef is holding.  It needed a little something else, so I used some 1/8" yellow polka dotted ribbon to tie a bow to finish off this quick & easy card.
