Speedy Fox & Friends Blog Challenge~~Purple Christmas

At first, I thought this was going to be a "challenging" challenge, then I thought why not a purple Santa? I got out my "Holly Jolly Greetings" stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co and this is what I came up with. I hope you like my non-traditional Santa! :-)

November Christmas Card Challenge cards

I can't believe we started this challenge in January and it's already November!!!! Where has the year gone? Thursday will be Thanksgiving.

I made these cards using my Anna Griffin "Winter Wonderland" Cricut cartridge and the stamp set "Holly Jolly" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. The "Holly Jolly" stamp sets is one of my very favorite sets, and I've used it a lot in the past few weeks.

I kept these cards very CAS because I had to make 45 of them. I'm using them as the invitations for our Holiday Open House that we host every year. I also wanted to kept the postage down, so there is no extra bows or anything that cost more to mail.

Speedy Fox & Friends Blog Challege~~Green Chirstmas

Pat challenged us to make a green Christmas card for this week's Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge. I used the mini stamp set "Tis the Season" that we got for participating in the November card swap on Speedy TV. I heat embossed the ornament.

Speedy Fox & Friends Blog Challenge~~Red Christmas

Our challenge this week is "Red Christmas". Of course I immediately thought of the cardinal on top of the present in the "Presents" stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co. Even though you really can't tell it, there's a scalloped oval behind the image. I embossed the background with a holly berry embossing folder. This was a fun challenge! After I heat embossed the tree and sentiment with black embossing powder, I used Smooch Illuminate on the branches of the tree, but you can't see it in the photo. In real life, it give the tree a nice shimmer.
