Birds of a Feather Gather in the Ferns

Today's Free For All challenge on SCS was to use a bird or bird accessories on a card. So this is what I came up with. I used two different stamps sets from Mark's Finest Papers called Ferns and Chickadee and Tweet Blessings. I like the soft autumnal colors that I achieved with this card.
Stamps: Tweet Blessings and Ferns & Chickadee by Mark's Finest Papers
Paper: unknown DSP, mustard, true thyme
Ink: true thyme
Misc: charm from Mark's Finest Papers, ribbon, MS border punch
I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend!!!!

Seahorse in blue & grey

I think this is such happy little masculine birthday card. It's simple yet nice (IMHO). The seahorse charm was originally brass colored but I embossed it with silver embossing powder and turned it silver. All you do is push the charm into the Versa Mark embossing pad and then dip it in the embossing powder color of your choice, heat and Voila'--a charm in any color you want! Pretty cool huh?
Stamps: Flourished Seacreatures by Mark's Finest Papers
Paper: China Blue Eyes & Snow Storm Smooth by Mark's Finest Papers , dark grey, Debbie Mumm DSP
Ink: grey, bliss blue, Versa Mark for the charm
Misc: ribbon, charm, prismas and baby oil
I hope everyone is going to have a wonderful Labor Day weekend! And I hope you get lots of stamping and scrapbooking done too!!!! That's what I plan on doing all three days!
Happy Stamping!

I loved this sketch challenge!

I loved today's sketch challenge over on SCS that I made 2 cards! However, they look totally different even though I used the same stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers called Apples and Camellia. And most of the paper are from Premium Paper Craft Packs: one is Fall Festival (top card) and the other is Grandma's Jewelry Box. I love the Premium Paper Craft Packs from Mark's Finest Papers because everything is coordinated for you: the paper, flowers, ribbon and lots of other embellishments! Just love 'em!

Misc: Apple Button from Buttons Galore & More
Bottom Card:

Flower in Turquoise

I made this card Monday night for the SCS Clean & Simple challenge, but I didn't get it posted. We were suppose to use turquoise & kraft cardstock to make a CAS card. I like these colors together. I stamped the camellia twice with versa mark ink then embossed with black embossing powder. I cute out the middle of the camellia & popped it up with pop dots.
Stamps: Apples & Camellia and Flourishes & Frame by Mark's Finest Papers
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, crumb cake & black
Ink" Tempting Turquoise & Versa Mark
Misc: Black embossing powder, pop dots
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!!! It's only been in the mid 80's here with low humidity, so we have really been enjoying life for the past 2 days!!!
