Happy Birthday Cards for June

Sorry I didn't post yesterday, but I've had a horrible sinus infection. I finally went to the doctor yesterday. I had to work yesterday & today, because I had an apointment that I couldn't reschedule. But I am starting to feel a little better. Those little "cough pearl" pills the doctor gave me really work well.

Well, yesterday was my DHs first official day of retirement, and guess what he did: He rearranged both of my clothes closet AND my craft room!!!!!!!!!! I felt so poorly I didn't even get upset. Can you believe it? And yes, he is still alive. LOL He thinks his organizational skills are better than mine. I do hate to admit it, but he moved all of my shoes (100+ pair) to a different closet and stacked them on shelved, rather than on top of one another. (I keep my shoes in the boxes). I really can see them better now, so I guess it's not all bad.

The first picture tonight is of Geordi, our 22.5 lb kitty. He has no teeth (except those teeny tiny ones right in the front). He is only 8, but he has always had dental problems. I even had to take him to a kitty dental specialist to have his top K-9s removed!) Anyway, the picture is him taking his early morning sun bath. He travels around the house as the sun moves. He was a very unhappy kitty when we had all the rain a few weeks ago. All he does all day, every day, is take a sun bath. He is so funny!

The card today is one that I'm using for my male clients this month. I love making tri-fold cards, and haven't made them in a little while. I had a hard time coming up with a masculine card. I'll post another one tomorrow, but I'm not real excited about either one of them. Any suggestions will be appreciated for improvements.

Stamps: Various unknow stamps
Paper: Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze & Whisper White
Ink: Pacific Point
Misc: Pop dots, key tag punch

The unmounting of my stamps is going well. I really do like the unmounted stamps. Of course they're not as easy as clear acrylic stamps, but are much better than trying to "guess" with the wood mounted ones. It's still taking a very long time, but I have a new rule: if I'm going to use a stamp set I have to unmount it first. That way, I can still get stamping in, but am moving forward with the unmounting process.

Guess that's all for tonight. I hope everyone is doing well.

Happy Stamping!
Patty & Winnie

Wow, your cat reminds me so much of my Mom's cat. lol I like your masculine card, if I had any suggestions, I would say some eyelets would be nice. You could tie some raffia or twine through it as well. Hope your feeling better!
