April Showers Bring Weeds to Your Lawn!

I made this card for today's Featured Stamper over on SCS.  I love the layout!  The blue ribbon looks grey in the photo, but it's baby blue IRL.  It's cloudy here today, so I think that has something to do with it.

I used the stamp set "Rain Clouds" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I paper pieced the umbrellas.  The sentiment says "April Showers bring weeds to your lawn".  Isn't that just the funniest thing?

Here's a new picture of Nyko.  He came and sat on the table while I was taking photos of this card.

Isn't he handsome?  We rescued him for the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria.  He's a purebred Seal Point Balinese.  He's such a funny kitty!  He's wishing everyone a Happy Easter!

Speedy Fox & Friends~~Use a Stamp Set that begins with A

This week's Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge is to use a stamp set that begins with the letter A or have the letter A in the sentiment.  I used the stamp set "Amaryllis Definition" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  I colored the amaryllis so that they were two toned pink.  I colored the stamens with gold pen.  And of course, the image just cried out to be put on a center step card!

I really like today's stamp set!  I needed some feminine birthday cards for April, so I decided to use the tulips and I ended up making 10 tulip birthday cards.  I did some in yellow, and some in pink.  Which one do you like better?

Cute Little Bunny Bag Video Tutorial

 

I was asked to be today's Featured Designer for Speedy TV.  I decided to do this little treat bag.  I used the free stamp set we got for the March swap over on Speedy TV.  I think this set is just adorable!

Masculine Birthday Card

 

I needed a lot of masculine birthday cards for April, 14 to be exact, and this is what I came up with.  They were easy to mass produce.   I used the stamp set "Gullible" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co that we got for free from a swap some months ago.

Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge~~Green

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!!!  I know I'm a day early, but hey, I'm Irish, so I'm starting my celebration early!  :-)

Speedy Fox & Friends challenge~~Shaped Card

Today's Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge is to make a shaped card; anything but a square or rectangle card.  I came up with this egg shaped card by using my Cricut and my Art Philosophy cartridge.  I really like how it came out.  I think I'm going to send it to my BFF & her husband for Easter.  I used the mini stamp set called "Spring Joy" by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.  All supplies for this card can be purchased at Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co.

Lots of Luck to You

Today's Free 4 All challenge over on SCS was to use eyelets.  I had to use some of my shamrock eyelets on this card!  The stamp set is a new one by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co called "Lots of Luck".  Then I found the cut little ribbon piece in my stash!  Wow, what good luck I had with my card today.  LOL  I created the background with the shamrock stamps that are in the stamp set.

Frog with Umbrella

This center step card will be a get well card for one of my clients.  I colored him with Copics, and cut out the cloud and popped it up with pop dots.  I added some rain drop brads under the cloud.  I think he turned out pretty cute.  This is one of the newly released stamp sets by Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Co called "Rain Clouds".

March Christmas Challenge Cards
