Pretty Pink Thank You

First off, thank you all for your prayers for my DH. He is out of contact until they can get communications set up which will be a few days. I have another request: I've gotten several messages from other family members whose loved ones are also in/in route to Haiti. Please pray for them and again for the Haitian people. Thank you.
Now, on to more pleasant things. I just love Pretty in Pink. I used it for my 25th Wedding Anniversary announcements/invitations a few years ago. And I just love this card. I think I will make a few more of them over the weekend. This card just simply makes me happy. Period. The End. :-)
Stamps: Curley Label, unknown acrylic
Ink: Certainley Celery
Paper: Certainly Celery, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Misc: Curley lable punch, pink pirouette ribbon, pearls, Sizzix big shot, scallop envelope SU die
I cute the envelope in Whisper White using the SU scallop envie die, and then again in Pretty in pink. I trimmed the pretty in pink down to make a liner for the envie and then put the curley label punch out on top. This really was a fun card to make!
I have a long (3 day) weekend, and hope to spend the entire time in my stamping room! I can't wait to share what I create with you, so please stop by soon!
Happy Stamping!

This card is drop dead gorgeous! Love it. And I'm not especially a pink person. Will pray for your hubby in Haiti, along with all those attempting to help in rescue. Our local church has a Sister missing still.

I can see why this card makes you happy. It does just that! It made me smile as it is so lovely.

I keep you all in my prayers - the people of Haiti, the people who are giving what they can to help them - their skills, their physical presence to help, their financial support. I stay tuned to CNN to keep updated. Now that the 3 presidents have joined together there is hope that these people will now be helped to get through this horrific time and then rebuild their beautiful country.

Take care.

That is one gorgeous card - although I admit that I have a preference for Pink Pirouette!
I fear the news we get from Haiti will get worse before it gets better. All of those who are traveling down to help are heroes in my book.

I'm glad this card makes you happy! It is a gorgeous card. Besides wedding/anniversary, it would be great for showers, birthdays, .... well, anything!

Yes, the situation in Haiti is horrific. I am continuously praying for all the relief workers as well as the Haitian peoples. No matter how little they had prior to the earthquake, it is awful to have their normal, every day lives disrupted to such an unimaginable extint. The Haitians whether they realize it at this point in time, they are lucky that people like your DH are there willing to help.

What a different card. I made something similar to that years ago before I was blogging. Love the little pearls you've added. A very elegant card.
