Rainbow Sherbet

I had not used my Rainbow Sherbet DSP since I got it many months ago. But I'm in love with it now!!! I've already posted one card, plus this one and one more to post later in the week.
Before I get to the details, I have a favor to ask. Please pray for all the residents of Haiti, and my husband who is on his way with FEMA to help out. I was not expecting him to have to go, so it caught us a little off guard. Thank you in advance for lifting him up in prayer. I don't have any idea how long he will be gone, where he will be staying or anything. I'm just a little worried since I heard there are bands of people walking around with machete's to protect themselves. It scares me a little.
Here's the deets on my card:
Stamps: Touch of Nature, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Rainbow Sherbet, Apricot Appeal, Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Whisper White
Ink: Green Galore & Tempting Turquoise markers; So Safron
Misc: corner punch
Thanks for looking tonight. Sorry I'm not upbeat as usual.
Patty

The colours in this remind me of Spring (which can't come soon enough)
;)

Prayers to your hubby!! My DH is also gone to Haiti to help out. He's in the Canadian navy here and so they have left today with supplies and personnel to help out as much as they can. Always hard when it's unexpected deployment regardless of how good the cause.

Pretty card - so cheerful and bright. My thoughts are with your husband and I'm sure everything will be alright. I can't imagine the devastation there, but the world has come together to help....which is great.

I will put your husband on our prayer list & we are already sending our prayers to the Haitians. Your husband must have a wonderful heart to go on this mission, you must be so proud! My daughter is in the Nat. Guard, so I realize what you're going through. She was in St. Bernard's Parish after the Hurricane & she said nothing she encountered in Iraq was even close to what she witnessed here. That being said, she also said she never felt so appreciated for what she said was doing so little. The people there are mourning & don't know what's next, but they know when people are genuinely there to help. Our prayers will also be with you to find some peace in your mind so you can be more at ease during his mission.
I didn't want to forget to mention your beautiful card! Those colors are so gorgeous...I must CASE them for some spring cards for the soldiers I make cards for through Operation Write Home. God Bless!

My prayers are with your husband, that he arrives safely. It is wonderful that he is going there to help the people. This tragedy is so enormous that we cannot even begin to understand. You take care - be strong.
