Welcome to Your New Home!
One of my clients just moved into a new house, so I made this card to send to her. I had so much fun making it! I can't believe I didn't stamp anything on it! WOW! I stippled using Wild Wasabi ink for the grass and Blue Bayou for the sky. I cut out the tree branch with the bird house using the Winter Frolic cartridge & my Cricut. I cut the fence out of Whisper White using my Martha Stewart fence border punch. The flowers and bunnies are from dies by Impression Obsession. I put tiny pearls in the center of the flowers along the fence. I used my Fiskars cloud punch for the small clouds. I used a strip of small pears for the butterfly body. I hope she likes the card! I really had fun making it.
Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's in your life!

My Goose has Feathers!
Today's ways to use it challenge over on SCS was to use feathers. Well, to say the least, I am not a feather person, so I chose to use the goose image from the Wetlands stamp set by Stampin' Up! This was a very quick & easy card to make. I stippled the ground and sky, and then stamped the beach grass and goose image. I'm going to use it for my June masculine birthday cards for my clients. I hoe they like them.
Stamps: Wetlands
Paper: Whisper White, River Rock
Ink: Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, Smokey Slate, River Rock

My DH is my Lucky Charm
I made this card a few weeks ago to have on hand for my DH for St Patty's Day. I also made a video tutorial on how I made it, and can't remember if I ever posted it to my blog or not. So, in honor of St Patrick, I'm posting it today. Here's the video:
It's snowing here. We already have about 4" on the ground and it's still snowing. I'm not sure if I'm going to work today or not. The federal government is closed, so DH doesn't have to go into the office. He'll just telework from home. I can do the same thing, so maybe we'll both have a snow day.
Happy St Patty's Day!

Soft Summer Petals
Wow, I can't believe it's been over 2 weeks since I have posted anything to my blog!!! I've been busy sewing and haven't made any cards until today. I'm making baby things for Allanna who is due at the end of the month. Can't wait to find out if it's a girl or a boy. I'm currently working on a heirloom Christening blanket that Allanna wants to hand down from generation to generation. Maybe I'll post a picture of it here when I get it finished if anyone is interested in seeing it. Just leave me a comment and let me know. I may even start a sewing blog, we'll see.
This card was inspired by the Featured Stamper challenge over on SCS today. Diana Nyguen is the FS and she has a beautifully gallery.
Stamps: Soft Summer
Paper: Cameo Coral, Lucky Limeaid, DP
Ink: Cameo Coral
Misc: SU Labels Dies, SU Basic Rhinestones, doily, Cricut, Accent Essentials cartridge, bitty flower punch

Peaceful Petals Floral Thank You
I love this new set called "Peaceful Petals" by Stampin' Up! I stamped the image then colored it with my copics. The embossing folder is a new one my DH gave me for Christmas. It's the 8 1/2" x 11" embossing folder for my ebosser. I can't remember the name of it, but I love being able to emboss an 8" x 11" piece of paper all at once, then I can just cut it down to 4" x 5 1/4" and have 4 pieces of embossed paper! Quick, fast, easy, fun!
For some reason I'm really enjoying using monochromatic colors lately, and this card is no exception. Here's all the details:
Stamps: Peaceful Petals
Paper: Whisper White, Gumball Green, Pistachio Pudding
Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Gumball Green
Misc: Spectrum Noir Pens, embossing folder
I hope you have a great day! Thanks for stopping by!

Altered Z Fold Card and Video Tutorial
I just love these cards!!! I made them in the following colors: Wisteria Wonder, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party & Real Red. I made 25 of the Wisteria Wonder ones yesterday. I'm going to use them for my swap cards at a Northern Virginia Stampin' Up! get together at the beginning of March. I'm going to make 25 more in Pistachio Pudding. I used the hostess stamp set "Simply Sketched" for the top 3 cards, and the real red card has an added butterfly from "Papillion Potpourri". I used the SU embossing folder called Perfect Polka Dots and the Scallop Trim Border punch. The sentiment on the front is cut from the small oval and scalloped oval punches. Here's the video on how I made the card: (sorry, but at the end of the video you will hear Winnie barking. She refuses to come all the way up to my stamping room because the steps have oak risers rather than carpet and she's afraid she'll slip....silly little dog!)
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll give this wonderful card a try!

3 Flowers
I was playing around with my new stamp set "Petite Petals" by SU with the matching punch. I used a butterfly embossing folder on the left hand side and bottom, and stamped 3 flowers on the top right hand side. I popped up one of the flowers with a pop dot and added small pearls in the center of each flower. I added the happed birthday sentiment as a last thought. I may make some more of these today in different color combinations.
I'm going to a SU get together in March and I've been working on my swap cards. I really like how they're turning out. I made 25 yesterday. I want to make some more today. And I want to make a video tutorial. I think I'm going to be busy on my day off from work! LOL
I hope you have a wonderful day!
